Lahore Se Agaey stars react on banning of Pakistani artistes in India

Pakistan Drama industry has undoubtedly gifted us with some very worthy performers over the years. Renowned actress Saba Qamar is one of those performers who has won our hearts with her very versatile roles over and over for sure.

With her exclusive venture “Lahore Se Agay “, Saba Qamar and Yasir Hussain along with the entire cast of the flick are all set to grace the silver screen. The film is a spin-off of last year’s popular hit, Karachi Se Lahore.

According to Saba, she would be portraying something very different from the usual feminist characters she has played over the years. While, Yasir affirmed that his role is a follow-up of the same character impersonated by him in Lahore Se Aagay.
While talking of the recent on-going Indo-Pakistan situation, Yasir deplored the strained ties between the two nations stating, “Many artists refrain from giving statements on the tense situation but I clearly decry the whole situation.”

“And, if the actors are lip-tight on the circumstances then we should not push them further for giving statements. Maybe, they are compelled to do so,” says Yasir.
Actress Saba Qamar also shared her thoughts on this occasion quizzing, ‘Why actors are being impelled into hostilities and warfare?’

According to her, performers and artists have nothing to do with it.
She further said that the neighboring countries welcome artists from the other countries with great respect though the same is not practiced in our country sadly.

She also requested the nation to frame homage and respect to the artistes and their art.
When said that artistes represent their country and they should give an open stance, Yasir deliberately responded saying that PM Nawaz Sharif represents the country the most.

‘Hence, he is the one who should be issuing statements and explain as to why there are a number of mills functioning in his name in India,’ he added.
He boldly declared that our theatres are counting on Indian movies till the day we manage to put our feet together and stand up for ourselves.
The romantic comedy also features Rubina Ashraf, Behroz Sabzwari, Abdullah Farhatullah (Sanam Baloch’s husband) and Noorul Hasan.

LSA is set to release on November 11.
